Does Life Really Matter?
What do we see?
…Relentless bombings by rebel groups who make
no differentiation between the enemy and
…people including children, who are prepared to
strap bombs to their bodies and willingly destroy
their own lives and many others around them;
…militant attacks on hospitals, doctors and emergency food convoys;
…the unwillingness by nations to help people fleeing torture and death, who
desperately flee their homeland and end up drowning at sea;
…the twenty or so people who end their own lives in this country… each day,
because life is no longer bearable.

He wants for nothing. Why would He need people? And why would He
consider them valuable?

with someone else. So He created beings like Himself, who would like what
He likes and share His company.
Author David Benner wrote…

created beings! If that doesn’t leave you speechless, I wonder what will?
But how do we know we are important to God?
A thirty second view of the
nightly news, is fairly convincing
to most of us that life probably
doesn’t really matter at all.
